A couple weeks ago, I bought the Physicians Formula Eye Booster™ 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum pen. I have been looking for a good precision eye liner pen and this appealed to the “crunchy” side of me because it is hypoallergenic, fragrance free, paraben free, and “dermatologist approved”. It also appealed to the diva side of me, because it is not just an eyeliner pen, but also a lash growth serum. That is why I didn’t mind paying almost $10 for it at my local Walmart.
Now that I have used it for a couple weeks, I am ready to give you my thoughts on it. At first, I thought that it may become a must have go-to item for me. I am sad to say, I no longer feel that way.
It started out giving me nice clean dark lines that were easy to control. It continues to be fairly good at allowing me to easily make precise lines, but it is no longer dark and vivid and I find myself repeatedly going over lines to get them to look good.
I could understand this happening if I had not kept the cap on tight or left it laying or turned upside down. However, I have been very careful to keep it standing up so the liquid is always at the tip, and I have always made sure the cap clicked tightly closed. I also have not noticed much, if any, increased lash growth. Perhaps just a small amount in the very inner corners of my eyes.
With that said, I will not be repurchasing this product, and the quest for an awesome, precise, bold eyeliner pen continues.
